Imagining Home

This article explores online performances of adoptability homeless dogs in transnational animal rescue and rehoming practices Finland, based on an analysis the websites Finnish charities, as well interviews with volunteers at these charities. Drawing recent work concepts such home, care, encounter value, nonhuman charisma, I explore how other countries are portrayed for purpose pets and, more generally, ideals a pet multispecies home constructed.
